Palestinians ‘have a right’ to have their ‘legitimate aspirations fulfilled’: Anthony Albanese

A vast majority of countries are expected to vote for an emergency ceasefire in Gaza at the United Nations General Assembly. The UN will vote on a draft resolution which seeks an immediate unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. “Palestinians having a right to have their legitimate aspirations fulfilled, it has to be done in a way that provides security for everyone in the region, that is my position, that is the position overwhelmingly of countries in the United Nations as well,” Mr Albanese said.
