Palestinians protest killing of Hezbollah's Nasrallah | ABS-CBN News

Palestinians marched and chanted in mourning of the killing of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Saturday (September 28) following news of his death in an Israeli air strike. Protesters in the Israeli occupied West Bank's city of Ramallah, carried Lebanese flags and pictures of Nasrallah while chanting for him. The Israeli military said on Saturday it had eliminated Nasrallah in the strike on the group's central command headquarters in Beirut's southern suburbs on Friday (September 27). Hezbollah confirmed he had been killed and said in a statement it would continue its battle against Israel "in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defence of Lebanon and its steadfast and honourable people." Nasrallah's death is by far the most significant blow in a devastating fortnight for Hezbollah, starting with a deadly attack on thousands of wireless communications devices used by its members.
