Pan Trinbago Launches Panorama 2025

Pan Trinbago, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, launched the Panorama 2025 season with Live steelband performances, including the 2024 reigning champions BP Renegades and Massy Trinidad All Stars and guest appearances by Mical Teja and Farmer Nappy. "Steelpan Fuh So! Unleash D' Power!" Panorama 2025 - the first where the steelpan is recognised as the national musical instrument - was launched on Sunday at the home of Phase II Pan Groove in Woodbrook. Thanking paying patrons at the launch of the 2025 Panorama season, President of Pan Trinbago, Beverley Ramsey-Moore, reminded that "paying for pan" is an investment in the people of Trinidad and Tobago. "When you invest in pan, you invest in the youth of the nation, you invest in our senior citizens, you invest in all of Trinidad and Tobago. Because when Government invests over $140 million in Carnival, the country benefits. The entire ecosystem, the cultural ecosystem benefits. A lot of work. People are here, the vendors." Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Randall Mitchell, added that the successes of the 2024 season promise a strong 2025 Panorama season. "2024 also saw a number of firsts for us: our Steelpan Festival that we celebrated here in August and also the geographical indicator, which was an IP win for us here in Trinidad and Tobago. And ladies and gentlemen, the 2025 edition promises to be an amazing experience. So Government continues to do all to support the Panorama 2025, Panorama competition and the steelpan music, steelpan movement." Pan Trinbago has declared that there is no set "season" for pan, offering pan events from November through Carnival Saturday, starting with National Single Pan Preliminaries on Friday November 22nd.
