PDM workers in Kapchorwa - Museveni issues directive to police over illegal bank charges

President Museveni has threatened to arrest Parish Development Model extension workers in Kapchorwa region who were involved in deducting one million shillings for each PDM beneficiary in Kapchorwa region, under the disguise of deducting bank charges. The president had to put on notice the minister of finance, planning and economic development, Matia Kasaija, that moving forward, the purported charges should be done from Ministry of Finance during disbursement.
