Pennsylvania man who decapitated father “was of clear mind”: officials
A Pennsylvania man charged with not only killing his father, but showing his decapitated head — twice — in a video posted to YouTube on Tuesday was “of clear mind” when committing the crimes, according to officials. “From what his beliefs are, he was of clear mind doing this, and that's an important fact to us in this prosecution,” district attorney Jennifer Schorn said on Friday, during a press conference in Doylsetown, Penn. In the since-deleted and disturbing 14-minute video, Justin Mohn showed viewers his father's head on two separate occasions, later identifying him by name, saying “he is now in hell for eternity.” Shortly after going viral on Wednesday, Mohn was charged with first-degree murder, abusing a corpse, and the possession of an instrument in crime at a Bucks County court in Middletown Township. The 32-year-old was denied bail and remains in custody.
