Penny Wong to attend Trump inauguration despite previous criticism

Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong has confirmed she will be attending the inauguration of Donald Trump despite previously criticising the President-elect. The minister was invited by Trump alongside a number of foreign officials, including Australia's Ambassador to the US Kevin Rudd. Senator Wong said she will be meeting members of the incoming Trump administration during her visit as Australia attempts to avoid having tariffs imposed by the US.
