#Trump’s Defense Secretary pick #PeteHegseth, who has already denied allegations of a 2017 sexual assault, is the subject of a new report in the New Yorker. It describes multiple instances of alleged financial mismanagement while he ran two veterans’ organizations, and workplace behavior concerns involving alcohol, citing an internal whistleblower report. ABC News has not independently confirmed the New Yorker's reporting. One instance claims Hegseth brought his employees to a strip club and Hegseth “had to be restrained while drunk from joining the dancers on the stage.” A Hegseth adviser told ABC “We’re not going to comment on outlandish claims.”
