Peter Dutton and Coalition ‘taking Australia backwards’: Jim Chalmers

Treasurer Jim Chalmers has commented on the upcoming 2025 federal election. “Australians will have a really important choice to make between a Labor government under his [Anthony Albanese’s] leadership which is helping with the cost of living and building Australia’s future," Mr Chalmers told Sky News Australia. “Versus Peter Dutton and the Coalition who are a risk to household budgets, and they take our country backwards.”
