Peter Dutton ‘frightened’ of comparisons with Donald Trump

Sky News host Rita Panahi says Australians “still don’t know” what Peter Dutton’s plan for the country is. Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has expressed growing optimism for the upcoming federal election, following the results of the Western Australian state poll. “One of the reasons they are reluctant to pull out of Paris and say we are abandoning this destructive policy is because he is frightened of these Donald Trump comparisons,” Ms Panahi said. “The Liberals in this country at state and federal level are spooked by any sort of media backlash, by any sort of activist backlash.”
