Support for Australia Day on January 26 has surged, with a new poll revealing that 69 per cent of Australians want to keep the date, up from 63 per cent in 2024. “This, I think, is a much more significant thing than people understand,” Mr Morrow told Sky News host Paul Murray. “He [Peter Dutton] understands that the culture and the economy are intertwined.”
