Photographer Cecil Williams to expend South Carolina’s civil rights museum
South Carolina will soon expand its only civil rights museum, thanks to photographer Cecil Williams, who currently showcases years of work in his converted house. From sit-ins to prayer protests to portraits of African Americans integrating universities and rising to federal judges, Williams has snapped it.
