Pillar of fire burns above suburban neighbourhood in Texas

A fire triggered by the explosion of a natural gas pipeline in Houston, Texas, has led to nearby residents being evacuated out of concern the fire would spread. Locals said the explosion felt like a plane had crashed. Authorities say the pipeline has to burn itself out now the gas flow has been shut off.
