PISTON chief claims have drivers earned little since joining jeepney consolidation

The Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (PISTON) on Sunday claimed that some of their members who joined the consolidation saw their earnings dwindle allegedly after joining the jeepney modernization program. PISTON national president Mody Floranda said this is why a number of drivers and operators decided to go back to "boundary system" just to make ends meet.
