Plane crashes into highway traffic in Florida
A private jet carrying five people crash-landed on a Florida highway, hitting a vehicle and causing a fiery accident that killed at least two people. The incident claimed the lives of the plane's pilot Edward Daniel Murphy, 50, and co-pilot Ian Frederick Hofmann, 65. It happened on Friday, Feb. 8 near the Florida city of Naples. The jet, a Bombardier Challenger 600 from Ohio, experienced dual engine failure before attempting to land at Naples Airport, according to the U.S. transportation safety authorities.
