Plans to ramp up rice production

Plans are in the works to ramp up production of rice across the island. The announcement comes as Barbados reaps its second successful harvest of upland rice. Agriculture Minister, Indar Weir, shared the plans after a harvesting ceremony at the Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation this morning. Reanne Phillips tells us more.
