Plans underway to export sweet potatoes to UK

If all goes according to plan, Barbados will soon be preparing to export one million kilogrammes of sweet potatoes to the UK. That's the word from Agriculture Minister Indar Weir. He notes there is a great demand for the root crop as local sweet potatoes have a superior texture and reputation.
