‘Please leave’: Albanese urges Australians ‘not’ to travel to Lebanon

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has urged Australians “not” to travel to Lebanon and to “please leave” if they are there. Israel is said to be preparing for a possible ground invasion of Lebanon after troops were repositioned to the Israel-Lebanon border. “The advice has been for many months now – please leave,” Mr Albanese told Sky News Australia. “Australian citizens should not be travelling to Lebanon.”
