PM 'would love to sit in stands' at football matches, but security 'would cost taxpay

Sir Keir Starmer has faced a backlash for receiving gifts and freebies which Sky News revealed totalled £100,000 since December 2019. Culture secretary Lisa Nandy was asked to comment on the £35,000 worth of football tickets that the prime minister has accepted, but not yet addressed. She told Sky News, "he pays for his season ticket, but for him to sit in the stands it would require a huge security detail and cost the taxpayer a lot."
