PM Accuses UWP Of Planning To Have Employees Laid Off When Minimum Wage Is Implemented

The United Workers Party has come under fire from the Leader of the Saint Lucia Labour Party and Prime Minister, Philip J. Pierre. Prime Minister Pierre has accused the UWP of hatching a scheme to lay off workers in the face of establishing a minimum wage. Mr. Pierre made the accusations while addressing a gathering at the Annual General Meeting of the SLP Vieux Fort North Constituency.
