PM acknowledges ‘trailblazer’ Linda Burney following resignation

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has paid tribute to outgoing Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney at the NSW Labor Party Conference. The Prime Minister will unveil his new cabinet tomorrow following the resignations of Skills and Training Minister Brendan O'Connor and Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney. “I do want to acknowledge a person who has put her heart and soul into turning those words of respect into acts of national progress,” Mr Albanese said during the conference. “A trailblazer, an inspiration, a powerful advocate for First Nations people. “A person of wonderful warmth and great strength who has met every challenge in her life with courage and with grace, and a dear friend who all of us wish every happiness in the future – Linda Burney.”
