PM calls for people to ‘lower the temperature’ on rhetoric in political debates

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has called for people to “lower the temperature” on the rhetoric in political debates. Mr Albanese’s remarks come after Mr Trump was injured at his rally in Pennsylvania in an assassination attempt. “We should be able to have to have political discussion and disagreement, do it respectfully, and that is really important,” Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Sunday.
