PM pledges to make Australian steel and aluminium the ‘best in the world’

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has pledged to make Australian steel and aluminium the “best in the world”. “We are going to make Australian steel and aluminium the best in the world,” Mr Albanese said at a media conference on Tuesday. “By working with companies like Rio Tinto and BlueScope to make sure they can decarbonise so that they are in a competitive position, which means their goods and their products will be in demand right throughout the world.”
