The Philippine National Police- Civil Security Group has issued an order restricting the sale of digital night vision rifle scopes and similar devices to civilians due to concerns that they could be exploited by criminal elements. The PNP-CSG said the directive mandates firearms importers and dealers to limit the selling, distribution, and marketing of these scopes exclusively to members of the PNP, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and other law enforcement agencies.
