Police & You: Pepper Spray regulations

Earlier this week, the Police Service revealed that permit applications for pepper spray have been low, with less than 100 licences being granted, since the legislation was passed almost three years ago. Speaking on CNC3’s The Morning Brew on Thursday, TTPS spokesman ASP (Ag) Rajesh Lall said the current measures are designed to ensure that this non-lethal device does not end up in the hands of individuals with questionable character.
