Police arrest 115 suspected criminals at Namugongo

The police have today arrested over 115 suspected criminals during the Namugongo Martyrs Day celebrations.  Speaking to NTV, Luke Owoyesigire the deputy police spokesperson, Kampala Metropolitan said that most of those arrested were involved in thefts of phones and other belongings for the pilgrims.  All these arrests were made due to the heavy deployment of the police, army, and Uganda prisons personnel.
