Police: Killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO was premeditated attack

The fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was a “brazen, targeted attack,” NYPD commissioner Jessica Tisch told reporters. The gunman was “lying in wait” for several minutes, Tisch said. As Thompson was walking to the hotel where his company’s investor conference was to take place, the gunman approached from behind and shot Thompson at least once in the back and once in the right calf, Tisch said. #CNN #News
