Pope calls on political leaders in Indonesia to guard against religious extremism

Pope Francis met Indonesia's President Joko Widodo on day two of his visit to the region. The Pontiff and Mr Widodo were saluted by an honour guard playing the Indonesian and Vatican anthems before heading inside for a private meeting. He was later greeted by hundreds of people who had gathered outside a Jakarta Cathedral where he called on political leaders in Indonesia to guard against religious extremism.
