Pope Francis embarks on longest trip yet to Asia-Pacific

Pope Francis has set off on a 12-day Asia-Pacific tour – his longest and furthest trip yet. The 87-year-old leader of the Catholic Church will visit Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Singapore. The trip was initially planned for 2020 but got postponed due to the pandemic.
