Pope Francis celebrated a Mass on Sunday with about 23,000 people at a sports venue in the Papua New Guinea capital of Port Moresby. A group of indigenous performers danced and sang rituals at the start of the mass. Pope Francis told the local populace that while they may think they live in "a far away and distant land," God is near to them.
