Porsche thefts: 4 charged in viral Mississauga car theft where man was struck

Four people have been arrested and charged in connection with a luxury vehicle theft in Mississauga, Ont., that was caught on video, according to police. The viral surveillance footage appeared to show a woman responding to an auto trader ad on Sept. 6, before a man was struck with his own Porsche Cayenne SUV earlier this month. In a news release Friday, police said two men from Toronto, aged 36 and 21, face a number of charges, including possession of an automobile master key. Rainer Herschel Fernando was one of the individuals and is believed to be a part of a larger organized group, according to officials. Two youths were similarly charged with possession of property obtained by crime, authorities say. One of the youths also faces one count of failure to comply with bail conditions.
