Tim Parker, former Chair of Post Office Ltd - he stepped down from his role in 2022 after almost seven years in the job. Giving evidence on Wednesday, July 3, Mr Parker said he regretted accepting the advice not to give the board the so-called Swift Report of 2016 that questioned whether the Post Office had sufficient evidence to prosecute sub-postmasters. Hundreds of sub-postmasters were wrongly convicted of theft and false accounting because of incorrect information from a faulty IT system called Horizon.
