President Museveni has explained that railway transport will significantly reduce the cost of business by lowering the final price paid by dealers for delivering exports and imports. The President, who emphasized that this is the future of business, was in Mukono to commission the rehabilitated Mukono Meter Gauge railway line, as part of a consistent effort to improve the country's transport infrastructure. The 26-kilometer railway line was built using concrete sleepers produced at the Imathia Construction factory in Kawolo, Lugazi. The line is expected to allow locomotives to reach speeds of up to 120 km per hour, an upgrade from the old system, which only allowed speeds of 25-30 km per hour. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
