President Ruto appoints 129-member committee to review new university funding model

A 129-strong-member committee has been appointed by President William Ruto and will have two months to constitute a report that will streamline the much-contested new university funding model that has led to an uproar from students. The national working committee will be spearheaded by Professor Japheth Micheni Ntiba and will be made up of four streams each with its own leadership. The composition of members also includes university students.
