President Ruto asks Governors to slash ksh 2b to help settle KEMSA debt

President William Ruto has asked governors to slash ksh 2 billion from the recent county allocations to help settle the KEMSA debt. The president stated that if the council of governors contributes ksh 2 billion from the ksh 60 billion recently allocated to counties, the government will add another ksh 1.5 billion to clear up the KEMSA debt and streamline the distribution of medicines to hospitals...This even as former opposition members, lashed out at former deputy president rigathi gachagua, stating that those who go against the President's manifestos, will be axed from various positions they hold. They further maintained that they are still in opposition, and those taking their place are impostors
