Primary support for major parties falls

Primary support for Labor and the Coalition has decreased despite the major parties declaring firm stances on nuclear. According to the latest Newspoll, the Coalition’s primary vote has decreased by three points to 36 per cent. Labor’s primary vote has fallen by a point to 32 per cent. Support for the Greens has increased by two points to 13 per cent.
