Prince Harry settles phone hacking suit against Mirror Group

Prince Harry has reached a financial settlement with Mirror Group Newspapers over the remaining part of his phone hacking claim. His lawyer says the Duke of Sussex will be in line for a substantial additional sum by way of damages before criticising Piers Morgan, who was editor of the tabloid. Prince Harry’s case against Mirror Group proved there was widespread phone hacking and senior executives, including former editor Piers Morgan, knew about it. The Duke of Sussex was awarded a substantial sum on top of the £140,000 he received in December. Mirror Group said it was pleased to have reached an agreement, as the Duke of Sussex now has other tabloids in his sights.
