Productivity Commission Deputy Chair highlights risks with Future Made in Australia policy

Productivity Commission Deputy Chair Alex Robson has highlighted some of the risks with the government’s Future Made in Australia policy. Mr Robson urged the government to subject these kinds of policies to good cost-benefit analysis, to keep them transparent and to have an “exit ramp” if necessary. “We welcome the government's national interest framework. We think that there's potential improvements to that that could be made and we'll have more to say about that later,” he told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
