“Professionalism is what we bring on table - ”Parliamentary journalists’ body swears-in new leaders

Journalists under their umbrella body, the Uganda Parliamentary Press Association- UPPA have been urged to embrace positive reporting and avoid misleading information. The call was made by Bukooli Central Member of Parliament, Solomon Silwanyi, during the swearing-in of the incoming leadership of the Journalists’ Body in Parliament. Silwanyi, also a member of the Parliamentary Commission, represented the Speaker of Parliament, Annet Anita Among. The newly sworn-in leaders pledged to exhibit professionalism in their area of jurisdiction.
