Progress on key issues remain slow as ASEAN summit wraps: Analyst

Leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) wrapped up their regional summit in Laos capital Vientiane on Friday (Oct 11). Regional conflicts took centre stage, but the 10-member bloc was unable to find progress on difficult issues, including tensions in the South China Sea and efforts to resolve the crisis in Myanmar.
