PROPOSAL FOR NEW POLITICAL PARTY AMIDST FDC DIVISION

A section of FDC party members at KATONGA factions have proposed to abandon the party name FDC and form a new political party since Najjanankumbi faction has remained with legal instruments of the FDC. This decision stems from a national council meeting that sat on Wednesday and says elections are drawing closer, a clear decision should be taken to allow members participate in the elections. FDC currently has two factions one at KATONGA and another remaining at Najjanakumbi.
