Tensions escalated in Hyderabad as several members of Osmania University’s Joint Action Committee stormed Telugu actor Allu Arjun’s Jubilee Hills residence on Sunday. This dramatic incident occurred in the wake of allegations surrounding the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of his latest blockbuster, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The protesters, demanding one crore as compensation for the family of the 35-year-old woman who lost her life in the tragedy, caused damage to the property, including destroying flower pots in the compound. Although Allu Arjun was not present at his residence during the attack, the incident has further intensified the controversy. Hyderabad police promptly intervened, arresting eight members of the JAC. A video of the altercation, showing the protesters forcing entry and vandalizing property, has gone viral.
