Protesters took to the streets of Paris on September 29 to call for an end to Israeli strikes in Lebanon. The protest came after Israeli air strikes killed dozens of people across Lebanon. Hezbollah confirmed Nabil Kaouk, the deputy head of the militant group's Central Council, was killed on September 28, making him the seventh senior Hezbollah leader slain in Israeli strikes in a little over a week.
