PSV operators decry low number of passengers on Christmas

Public service drivers from Nairobi plying to different routes across the country, have decried the low turnout of passengers over the Christmas holiday. Drivers, at one of the biggest bus terminus in Nairobi, - Machakos bus terminus, say that they had expected an influx of passengers due to the end-of-year festivity, but were disappointed by the small number of people who turned up. This comes amid an outcry from Kenyans over the high cost of fuel that has raised the cost of bus fares by public service vehicles.
