The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Appeals Tribunal has met to update the Chief Administrative Officers, Procurement Officers, RDCs, and bidders from the eight districts of Mityana, Mubende, Kyankwanzi, Kiboga, Kassanda, Mpigi, Butambala and Gomba on developments in procurement law and practice. The PPDA has raised concerns about the rising number of cases filed by aggrieved bidders, document forgeries that hinder project progress, and the troubling trend of accounting officers removing key documents from bidders' applications, sabotaging their efforts. The PPDA appeal tribunal is an independent body that came into existence in 2014 to hear applications for review of decisions of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA). #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
