Pumas qualify for Battle of the Cats playoffs

Pumas have joined Cougars as the second team to qualify for the semi-finals of the 'Battle of the Cats' out-a-season basketball competition. Last night at the Barbados Community College Gym, Pumas dispatched Lions 74-62 to lead the standings on 10 points and assure themselves of a top-four finish in the preliminaries. Meanwhile, Jaguars stayed in contention as they moved into third place on eight points after out-playing Tigers 82-74. Our Damien Best has more.
