Pumpkin farmer looking for buyers

A St. John farmer is struggling to find a market for close to one thousand pounds of pumpkin. Celeste Chase, who tells CBC News she intended for the pumpkins to be sold out in time for Independence, is asking Barbadians to visit her at Four Roads, St. John before the produce is no longer fit for human consumption. Ms. Chase says several efforts to reach out to restaurants and other businesses to buy the pumpkins were unsuccessful.
