Punggol retreat centre chosen for Pope Francis' stay as it is "simple, accessible"

Those in charge of Pope Francis’ stay in Singapore say St. Francis Xavier Retreat Centre was chosen because it is simple. The place was also easy for the 87-year-old to move around. There was very little renovation involved and even furniture was loaned from the community. But as Richa Mathew finds out, the pope did have one request ahead of his stay and it was food related.
