Push for breathalyser testing in 2024

One organisation has made a promise to work with the government of Barbados to make the breathalyser test a reality this year. The “Make It Safe” group says that their whole mandate is to create a safe environment for the people of Barbados and one area that is at the forefront is the breathalyser test. Speaking on Sunday during a church service at the Bethel Methodist Church, the Director of Make It Safe, John Herbert, stressed that they are willing to work with the government to help the test be implemented this year. Herbert gave alarming statistics for road fatalities around the globe that drove them to want to do their part.
