QEH to have cancer treatment facility in place soon

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital should have a cancer treatment facility up by November. Acting Chairman Nigel Whitehall says a linear accelerator to treat the disease has been acquired and the QEH is moving from cobalt treatment for patients. The lengthy wait for cancer treatment was raised during St. George Speaks at the Cuthbert Moore Primary School. Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says the money has already been paid and Barbados is awaiting arrival of the device.
