Qld Labor government vows to lock in 50c public transport fares

Queensland Premier Steven Miles has promised to keep the 50 cent public transport fares. The government’s pre-election sweetener will be extended beyond the six-month trial if they stay in power. Opposition Leader David Crisafulli says the LNP would match the fare if his party comes to power after the October elections.
